I like Molto Mario. He does his cooking and his talking quite smoothly, better than Wolfgang Puck. You get to see some good cooking techniques and you learn a lot about the various types of Italian cuisines. Each area has it's own style due to what was available locally back in the day when the dishes were first developed. My lady friend got me introduced into foodie programs and we make it a point to watch this show every Monday morning we can.
Second place in my book goes to No Reservations. Anthony Bourdain will go anywhere and eat anything! If you like your food and drink mixed with adventure, you'll like his show.
The "mean cook" shows don't give off the values we should be seeing more of, which is to enjoy life, learn something and have fun! We need to be nicer instead edgier with 'tudes these days to offset all the bad stuff that is going on from the street to the centers of power.
