Maybe I'm imagining things, but it seems there have been an unnatural number

I like that your not recommending them to justify your own purchase

as I feel many others do with various products they may own or have

owned. Carries more weight IMO.

CDT is just rebadged Vifa, at a considerable markup. I have the HD52 or whatever it's called, the mid is good but not great, the tweeter I threw away.

The speaker sets go in cycles. In a couple months, Rainbow will be a boner again. Then something else, then something else.

One thing I want to try, perhaps, is that DD "Audiophile" setup.

CDT is just rebadged Vifa, at a considerable markup. I have the HD52 or whatever it's called, the mid is good but not great, the tweeter I threw away.

Is that so? The vifa x19 and x25 are pretty good tweeters. I think the Alpine

type x pros use an x19 derivative. Which vifa tweeters are cdt using?

Rebadged & Vifa based are two different things.

Rebadged is using someone else's product & slapping your name on it.

(Vifa) Based is using an available/proven product to use as a design platform (other companys do this as well).

I love my cdts, best sounding speakers ive owned. I do run their top of the line but ive installed several other models and they have all been pretty good sounding esp for the price.
