Anyone drive an old school car daily?

I used to drive this daily for 2 years

When the gas started to go up, it was more cost effective to buy my blue car. Now the chevelle just sits under a car cover in my driveway... rotting. A depressing site actually to se what it used to look like.

As long as you maintain upkeep, they're super fun to drive. So kind of a PITA, but worth it.

I drove this daily for 4 years and still drive it all summer,

I love every minute of it. As long as you have a strong engine and ****** and electronic ignition, they are easier to maintain than any newer car. The only problem it gave me was a dead coil, other than that I haven't had to do anything but general maintenance (well I guess I am replacing the engine now, more power ftw!).

A '68 Impala is a "Classic" car. A '85 Monte Carlo is an "Old School" car.
I drive an 85 Monte with bench seats No CC, not tilt wheel, and the lights don't go off automatically. Crank windows and no power locks too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Whats up with you guys old schools not having AC or cruise control? Mine and my brothers pontiac catalinas (1981 & 1968) both have AC and cruise. Both are daily drivers, only major problem ive had with mine is replacing the carb, which i did as preventive maintenence. I drive the shit out of it too and no problems, just got done racing a guy on it a few minutes ago, lol. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

mine's a convertible, so ac is kind of pointless. car came with ac, but i had it taken out to free up some power
