I'm a dumbass and I was removing my ID8 with a drill, slipped a little and made a hole //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif Didnt have time to cry so i just added some silicone, didnt stick very well. The sub still sounds good but i mean my sub has a hole!
Called ID today and spoke to a lady. Said i could get a recone kit for $90, asked how much a new one is, $139. I said cool thanks I'll think about it. Got a call back about 2min later saying the $90 was pretty much a trade in price for a new one, I said cool but i think i can find a used one cheaper. transferred me to Eric, I explained my problem he said I could bring it in and he would fix it for me free, using some adhesive.
Since I'm in ontario that would be easy, gonna do it tuesday and see how it goes.
From $90 to free, i think thats good customer service, and i didnt buy from them. I'm willing to pay $20 for my stupidity.
Anyone have good/bad experience with them?
