Anyone checked out the new Mb Quart Q series?

They look kind of weak compared to the older version. Has anyone heard these yet? They are around $300 on the net. They look like they put some r&d into them, but are they worth the price compared to something like Boston Pros?

I guess you are right. The new ones are half the price as the old ones. They look kind of impressive for the price. They have 40mm tweeters, and I know they get loud. I guess they only go crazy for maxxsonics made Mb Quart amps on here? The new Premium set doesn't look bad either.

I have a set of these in the qsd series but I dont know what they sound like yet, however the guy who sold them to me said that the snares would sound so good that they would scare me:hide:

I hope this is true cause between these and the audison 6.9 I bought... well... $$$

How much more were the Audison, and did he say the Mb Quarts sounded better to him? Did he at least have them on a sound board?

I haven't been impressed with any of MB Quarts new products... especially compared to their pre Maxxsonic products. If you want excellent SQ with a solid midbass, check out Rainbow's products... especially the Power series and any of the Kick products... phenominal!
