i need someone who knows this law very well break it down to me? if you were threated by a gang of thugs or attacked if you shot and killed 1 or several would there be any consequences? if you had your gun permit an no felonies at all would it be better?

It is a law actually. Florida was first, then GA obtained it.

Group of guys, possibly was armed i know this person have shot someone else before so why waste time and no excute first? what happend is it was an robbery about to happen but you know how u just sense bad **** about to happen? and when the first thing get out of hand you be prepared to do what ever it takes?

Well, if you jumped before they did you are fvcked. Unless YOU were threatened or they were on your property and being a threat you are fvcked.

I have a family member that is a Sherriff and in the country you get it every so often. Someone breaking in your house at 3 in morning you can defend yourself. But if someone is stealing your lawn mower and no weapon you can not use deadly force. The lawhas many loop holes and such.

All in all, seems like you leaped before they did and Johnny Cochran couldn't get you out of it.
