Anyone Buy An EVO 4G?

Debating if I want to keep mine. Switched over to sprint for it and the service isn't bad, big screen is nice, loving the Android OS but I feel like the battery life on this thing sucks. Think I might return it go back to AT&T and wait for that Dell Streak coming out.

Anyone else buy one/ have an android phone with crappy battery life?

not digging the extra $10 a month and heard pretty much any droid phone is just as good minus the hdmi out put or whatever it is

I was just considering upgrading from my touch pro 2. The extra 10 bucks does make me think about it becasue i wont even be able to take advantage of that. How long does the battery usually run?

10 bucks for the 4g wimax capability even if its not available in your area which in mine is not. only thing holding me back is im thinking i should buy it on ebay or something so I wont have to stay with them for 2 years.

stupid email never tells me when people respond to my threads but yeah...battery sucked so bad lasted maybe 4-6 hours depending on usage. Brought the phone back to sprint yesterday and switched back to my iphone for now. Either going to wait it out for the dell streak or give in to the new iphone.

Yep ditches my iPhone 3GS, best phone I've ever owned. Also that battery thing, it can be fixed, just need to know what your doing. Also having flash on a phone is nice

Lol, to save on battery, you have to shut down so many programs, which renders the phone useless to get good battery life.

It is a sweet phone, but of course it will have crappy battery life, with the huge screen, processor, always on it.....

I would just keep pluggin it in rather than go back to the Jesus phone......and Apples controlled way of making you use their device unless jailbroken.....

I am BB fanatic, but Andriod is nice. Will have a G2 here soon enough.

I did end up getting the 4g. I wouldnt have any other phone even though battery life isnt the best. Theres plenty of apps that will help to get the most out of battery life.
