Hey guys,

I was just wondering who all on here bikes to work or just bikes as a pretty substantial part of their travels.

I recently bought a Royce Union road bike (its orange and really tight looking //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif) and as long as it's within 25 miles and I don't need to carry a bunch of stuff, I bike there. The bike has already paid for itself in gas money saved and gets me some added exercise as well, not to mention the mileage/wear n tear im saving my car.

(I have a feeling there wont be much on here, haha)

And anyone who is b!tching and moaning about gas needs to see the difference in your spending it can make by biking to work...

Instead of driving that 8 miles to work in a escalade every day

Are you planning on biking through the snow all winter?
Nope, but some people do still through ice and snow //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif...

Im planning on stripping my bike clean and repainting it this winter (orange, lol) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif and replacing some parts over winter too

If I lived in an area where it did not get below freezing and snow and my work was 10 miles or less away I would probably do it but biking 25 miles each way would be a bit extreme for me.

I would not do it for gas just for good exercise, I get 32mpg+ so the prices do not have as much affect on me as others.

I mountain bike a lot and I ride my bike to class when the weather permits. I'm in the process of replacing my whole rear drive train so I haven't gotten to ride much and I miss it. I used to ride about 100 miles a week but then school started back up and Orlando blows *** for good trails.

Yea, that's too bad. I can pretty much ride year round in Florida and it's best from October to January. It is usually around 70-80* during that time of year in the evenings around here and it makes for great riding weather.

for winter and mountainous terrain a AWD vehicle works fine for me!

riding your push bike in winter is reeetarded and cold... this year ima probably rie mah dirtbike in the winter lol 2t ftw spinnin tires n diggin holesss
