2 15's...off 4000 rms rated, 2000 a piece, and a 8 cubed box tuned to 37.77 hz

I'm having trouble with them off that power as they keep heating up

I have 2 10'' with copper coils and ran them off 2 sundown 1500's and they did fine. I had 1 12'' and ran 2 sundown 1500's on it but it didn't last that long. The coil was fine but the spiders tore same thing happened when we ran 2 1500's on 1 10''. My current enclosure is 3 cubes@32hz with 1 6'' aero port.

dude, really... almost 5K posts and you're asking that!!

I'm just seeing what other people are running. I'm going to be running about 1500 watts to mine. 18" in about 6 cubic feet.

ive ran a couple different setups ..

1 12 " copper coil in about 1.75 cube with over 2200 wattsgoing to it ..

that thing slammed for a 12 " .. but didnt last long before before it played below tuning in the enclosure and it never sounded the same again.. not quite blown .. but sounds bad ..

but i didnt care about that one anyway as i got a good deal on it and need to recone for my final project,

what im running now is 2 of the 12''s off an aq at just shy of 1 ohm final load in a box about 6 cubes .. and it gets loud and low ..

although next setup is going to be 4 12''s and im thinking like 2 of the aq 3500's or another big amp..

but gotta get my electrical beefed up for that ..

the 18 will be fine off 1500 as long as its good clean power

I'm getting 1 aq and then hopefully another. Big cone area but the electrical doesn't have to be as beast because it's 2 subs, instead of 4 or 8.

It will be fine. My electrical is in the process of getting beefed up so I have to finish that then get the 18.

ur not gettin 2k outta that amp lol not runnin full tilt.
