anybody went to size 15'' to 18's

i was just wondering how a 15 sound compared to an 18'' sub.i like 15's myself,thats all i ever ran and liked. does the 18 give that loud and low with authority like the 15?the reason i'm askin is that i want to purchase a 18 to try out? noone sell any where im located and noone runs 18's either.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif give me some input.thanks,lamont

I wouldnt imagine there would be much of a difference man, save for db's, loudness and spl.

The rest would all depend on power and install.

I like 18's, they move more air so it's like you have more than just 1 sub

18's FTMFW i went from 4 15" Kicker L5's to 2 18" SX the SX's were on another LEVEL! even with less power!!

ive used every series of dd 9515s , i went to a 9518g when it came out i deffinatly think it sounds better then a 15.....

I want to know this also because I have always used 15's, except for one setup when I went with 4 12's, I did not like the sound of the 12's and went to 4 15's now I have 2 AQ HD3 15's and they stomp all over the 4 12's and 4 15's I did have. I was wondering if I should go from the 2 15's to 2 AQ HDC3 18's. Right now I am over 150dbs on music will the 18's give me that much more output.
