Why not have a boner for a sub with 8.9" of xmax? We've just quadrupled the xmax of any other sub on the market.

i wonder how long the sub will last without just dying. that seems like all that movement especially played on music will make that sub heat up real fast. also for that sub to have any decent SQ at all it would have to move very very fast. dont get me wrong, im not putting it down, but there has to be a reason that other sub companies haven't done it already. if it works nicely, then great, i will be purchasing one or two depending on the price.

Given the rep of the rest of REs suff, i would think longevity is not really an issue...

Also, I doubt they would market this and take it to CES for the world to see with out alot of research and testing... But I would be interested to see some reviews on it...

I wish Car Audio or one of the trade rags would do a review on a bunch of subs like REs HC and XXX, A few of Adires, a few of SIs and a couple of other of the popular subs nowdays... VS. the normal, JL, RF, ALPINE and the likes...

it's not for everybody....and i don't think it will be marketed as the subwoofer 'solution'

there is always a time for change and innovation....why can't RE be the one to start it off?

Well like I was saying earlier, I read a few hundred posts about them.... Some are from a few years ago and I still see the same people talking good about them... And the way they are built, I don't think they are gonna wear out soon...
