Anybody used these components before?

I picked these up a while ago and finally got my Mark Antony 4-channel amp to properly power them. I'm going to be installing them sometime this week most likely. Just wondering if anybody had seen or heard these before and what their thoughts were on them. The ribbon tweets are what sold me, they are gonna look so nice molded into my A-Pillers

I have tried to stay away from sony in car audio alot but with those tweets if they are decent price might not be too bad

Wow, those look nothing like the typical Sony car audio products. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit from the anxiety of waiting for a review.

I'll definitely let you know what I think once they are in.

They're gonna be getting about 100W from a Mark Antony 800.4 so they should be very happy.

Also for those interested, I bought them at a Local Shop. On the wall the price was $500 I believe, but since I know the manager of the shop really well, I've spent a ton of money at that shop over a couple years, and he "wanted one of the two sets to go to somebody who would appreciate them" I got them for about $250, and on top of that I had a $150 gift certificate that my girlfriend gave me. So I decided to splurge.

They sounded really good at the shop on their little test wall. They got loud and didn't distort, obviously I didn't really put them through their paces in the middle of their shop, but I gave them a listen. Switching the wall between the Sony's and the really really high end Boston's, I didn't notice a huge difference.

I've been hearing that Sony is starting to pick up a little ground in the car audio field. I don't know if I'd ever trust buying anything Sony due to their past, but I am still interested to see how these work for you.
