I have 2 that i have had since i was 12 LMAO i will be 27 this year u must have done something wrong but check the tail. Males are smaller in size but larger tails, females are Larger in size with smaller tails.

Want to know something sad??? I have had these things almost 15 years and i have yet to name them LMAO!!!

i know that the females tend to grow larger than males, but i think it might be too early to tell because its still a baby, i'd say the shell is about 2.5" wide. but i tell u, it eats like there's no tomorrow. what size tank do you keep yours in?

I have 3 different tanks they were in a 15, 20 now a 50gallon i kept my tank small for a long time cause i did not want them to grow to much while i was away in school!!!

photobucket!!!!! but they get much bigger she is growing like crazy almost 2 times his size. She is nice he is mean he will bite anything and anyone but me and my GF. SH!T he even bites the running water when i clean him LMAO
