wait...so analysis shows it doesnt approach the black widow. well thats quite a comparison.
is that to say its no where near a black widow bite

or

is that to say its pretty poisonous but not close enough to a black widow bite to make it "the most poisonous"?

I would say if he was only mildly irritated and no long term inflammation in the immediate area, it was safe to say it was no where near a black widow IMO. However their wording does leave room for people to beg questions like yours. Their only objective was to prove it wasn't the most. That they did. They also proved it can penetrate. In the end the guy's arm looked like he was bit by a ton of mosquitos. But thats because he had his arm covered in daddy long legs.
Black widow bites are brutal. And the worst part is there is a good chance the doctor won't give you antivenin(sp) since it can only be used once. You have to suffer through incredible pain for about a week.

The black widow is up there maybe like 3rd in line. It is a serious spider. What makes it worse is how common it is, which leads to people associating it as the most dangerous.

It is said that the Brazilian wandering spider is the most dangerous. This spider is believed to have the most active neurotoxic venom of any living spider

Sydney funnels have been given this desognation too though, so who knows which is really worse.

Take a bite from each and tell us which one tingles more.
