Well, it turns out that I made $45k this year, but I am going to get hit with an additional $5k (as income) for rolling my 401(k) to a Roth IRA. But I knew it was coming...

I made a couple profits early in 2007 trading derivatives...

According to that the 75th percentile of houses in Omaha is only around 275K, so a 2.3 million house would have to be at least in like the 95th percentile.

well why are you guys worry'n about this dude? hes paying 50k, so what lol! he gets nothing back in taxes, we pay little to nothing, get a big tax return who cares....we have more money then he does on our return..wohoo!

Question. I live in a mobile home. Last year I built a roof over on it. Does this qualify for the energy credit? I saw where it said insulating, and that's the main purpose of a roof over is to keep the heat off the trailor roof. I'm just not quite sure if this would qualify. It defines it as "Insulation systems that reduce heat loss or gain" It sounds like it would, but just wanted to clarify.

My wife works for H&R block. She said that the energy credit only covers Windows, furnace, and solar panels.
