The punch hx2. My brother has just the basic punch and their okay, but now better than the old punch z which could produce some serious thump. There was this one dude that had the old he2, the mofos had some SERIOUS THUMP, so I know the hx2 must have some EXTEMELY SERIOUS THUMP! I only plan on getting a system ONETIME! I know too many people that keep having to replace subs because they wouldnt get one that was worth a ****.

well people keep switchin, bc they cant ever be to loud. you have one system an after awhile its just not workin for you so then you upgrade. but a good amp for the punches, would be an orion1200d, ED9.1, KickerKx1200.1, RFT1001, the list can go on an on, its all about budget

punch hx2 isnt weak at all. strong woofer actually. efficient also.

i agree on some of the amp choices but id try and find an older model bd1000
