Well I had mine for 4 and a half years and it costed me 5,000 but it was well worth it to have straight teeth.

Wow! How crooked was your teeth? usually it's only about 1-2 years.

most dentists do. my parents insurance covered mine. oh the memories. way back in the day. **** things were a pain in the ***.

Well I missed a lot of appointments when I lived in oklahoma because of my mom but even if I didn't miss any appointments they were suppose to be on for 4 years. My bottom teeth were really fu*ked up. I had to get 4 of my bottom teeth pulled before I could even start with the braces because they were so crowded.

my braces cost $4500 and i had them on for like 2 years, great thing was that my parents dental insurance covered half the cost so we didnt have to pay much out of our pockets.

I have them now. Get them off in about 6 months. Cost around $2,000 or so. Theyre not as bad as theyre made up to be. I still eat whatever i want, and have no problems. The only thing that sucks about them is when you first get them, the first week it will hurt to move your tounge on your teeth... It hurts like a *****. Then when you get them tightend/adjusted itll hurt for 1-2 days. i never followed anything the dentist told me, i never wore rubber bands or my retainer and he always told me "good job keep it up and you'll have them off soon" and i had them off within another 4 months.

I used to have braces. I think they cost amost 2 grand ( we didn't have insurance to cover it). I had them for about 2 years. The are a PITA to keep clean and it didn't take much to break one. My orthodonist used to complain at me when I did, which didn't make sense because I don't think the little brace cost that much.
