anybody have the IDQ V.3 ???

Still way too new man. Realistically speakming, its gonna be a least a couple 2 or 3 months before anyone has ordered some, received them, installed them, fully broke them in, and then made their critical listening judgements. Anything short of that would likely be a piss poor review any way.

ID has been making SOLID drivers for years, I see no reason to not make the punge, assuming it fits your needs. You can be that guy giving us the first reviews.

The way I see it, if you want to go sealed, grab the v3s, if you want to go ported, grab the v2s. the v3s should get a little louder sealed and they should get lower. The v2s just didn't have any low end at all sealed. The completely changed the design around so I can't tell you how it will sound as far as tonal accuracy and other traits like that but I know that ID has had some very nice sounding offerings and I've yet to be let down by anything they make.

They have had a few let downs imo, but very few. All in all I agree they are a solid company that's building a tradition of making solid performing SQ/SQL drivers.

These things are sexy as hell. ID is really stepping up their game with the new v.3s. Right out of the box you can just see the quality of this sub. They even triple box these suckers so that the quality stay intact through shipping. I have yet to fire this baby up yet, but I am **** excited. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

I may try it out as early as tonight. It'll be in a .6cuft sealed, which is a little on the small side for it, but hopefully some polyfill will help it out. I just have to wait for my brother, so we can throw this in the place of his Fi Q 10" and see how it goes.

u have any specs on it, in particular, recom enclosure sizes?

350w rms

box rec:

. sealed ..... ported

small = .55cuft ..... 1cuft @ 34hz

universal = .75cuft ..... 1.2cuft @ 30hz

audiophile = 1.1 cuft ..... 1.5cuft @ 28hz

man oh man, this sub is sweeeeeet. A huge step up from the v.2. Nice output, accurate, and had no problem w/ the lower frequencies (ported @ 32hz).

From the first note it played, i was amazed.
