Your best hope to have something that'll have any legs is to contract with whichever party is in your country. May be really hard to find anyone to take jurisdiction of a contract otherwise.

Oh and the healthcare argument.I never had to pay hospitals anything ever in my life. No health plans at all for me. Sales tax is a bit higher but you dont notice it too much

In my old place of employment, if we brought in new business we would get something like 7% of first deal, then 5%a for a year then 2.5% for 3yrs.

You definitely need a contract though. No matter how wel you know them. business is business.
