anybody ever worked for schwan food or know anybody that has??

its alot like insurance and renewals..

You get the customer, and they usually buy from you once a month or more. So the more customers, the more money..

They have perks for employees who have the highes sales in their area for the year- discounts on food, which may not seem like much, but with gas up, everything else has gone up...

You can either deliver the food to the schwans dist. or do the local routes..

U go out and sell- Basically as late as 6-7 pm, and start at 8-9 a.m.
Thats how you make your big bucks, working alot of customers, and potentials..

You can make 25k+ your first year

thats is NOTHING for working 12+ hours a day

thats roughyl $8/hr

hell 25K is almost nothing

My uncle is the head Tony's rep for all of Walmart.

My father drove a swans truck for a few years.

I myself thought about doing this, but the thought of being up at 4:30 am and not getting off work till 7:30pm or later didnt appeal to me.

25k a year for 12 hour days? screw that. Don't get me wrong I love jobs where you drive around all day but I would probably rather drive a cab if I have to do it for 12 hours a day and you make better money.

Schwan man peperroini pizza's are the absoulte best munchie food //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I have a freezer full of tony's pizza with an official red barron/tonys pizza oven. Stick in and turn dial. Makes perfect pizza everytime.

Had a couple buddys do it for awhile.

Make decent money, but the hours are insane. Like Jntar said you have to be there usually by 430am, which means you have to wake up in the middle of the night for the most part. Then don't go off till 730. So you get home, dead tired and have dinner and need to hit the hay. Most times they work 6 days a week too, because Saturday is their big promoting day to get customers.

So the 5-6 hours of sleep you get, hardly ever seeing your family is not worth it IMO.

Miles well be an over the road truck driver, which makes better money.

Both guys did residential IIRC.

Yeah 10-12 hours will be more 14-15. But you make decent dough there, just put in so many hours to do so.

Must be a thing here about working Saturdays, l don't know. They always told me it was a good day to pick up customers. They would park their trucks in a parking lot, hang a big sign and chill to a customer came up and signed up. Easy as pie on Saturdays really.
