I sorta agree. I have never listened to an entire Jay album all the way through or really heard Jay say something that just made me go "D@mn". I can bop my head to some of his ish but other than that....meh

Im not saying everything was terrible by him, but his late 90's-mid 2000's was horrible. I can remember being in school and watching MTV Top 10 Countdown and he would have 1 song that was #1, maybe even 2 song that cracked it, but he NEVER produced a CD I enjoyed 1-18 or whatever.....

Brenda's got a baby. Dear Mama. 2 of the GREATEST story/lyrical songs all time! But that my opinon.

Edit: Even "Changes" was a great song about whats going on in the wold around us.

Eminem is probably one of the best of all time. (Although I don't like much of his newer stuff)

Snoop and LL should be on the list and although many look down on him as "popcorn", Will Smith aka The Fresh Prince is and always has been a natural.

always was a Fresh Prince fan. But I think the reason none of those were on the list is that it was rappers of the 21st century, which to them probably translates as new rappers
