Any tips when dealing with trading?

Im gonna be trading a guy an Amp for another Amp, and was wondering whats the best way to go about it? Is it just all based on trust? Or is there something you can do to prevent someone ripping you off?

Hook it up and make sure it works, that's the best thing... and don't let him hook up yours, do it yourself, unless you know he knows what he's doing....

Ive gotten pictures and stuff, just dont want to end up shipping something to him and him not shipping anything to me.

last I did trading, we both set up a specific time that would work for both of us to ship. Then call each other when we both got there. And when it was time to finalize the transaction, we both handed our phone to the cashier to read the tracking #s .

You can send to me..and I can verify that they have made it and safely packed. I can open to test/check and repack and send with shipping funds? As for a 10hr drive??1/2 way for both, saves shipping, and damage.Id have an amp in operation to those wanting to buy locally,and a sub standing by to run/wire up for bridged/mono operation.Never had a buyer back down.Been great experiences.
