Any thoughts on the kinetik hc3800 blk batt.

Good performance overall. You'll have guys being snobby about xs power and northstar stuff but kinetiks get the job done as well.

Yeah I'm asking because it seems like nobody says nothing about kinetik anymore, seeing how xs and northstar is everywhere

Also I'm about to receive 1 hc3800 so I figure I'll grab two more to run for a 8k daily situation lol

my used kinetik hc 1800s treated me well back then, bought them 5 yrs old ran for 1.5 years on a stock 80 amp alt and 2.5k rms. I'd run them if I found them for a good price. I'm running even cheaper batts now with even more power draw. Moved on to C&D batts which are priced considerably less used.

Yeah I got a chance to get some telecom batts. For hundred each that got the one that weighs 75lbs and the ones that weighs hundred lbs

we've had more problems with kinetik at my shop than shuriken. we're to the point where we pretty much only sell the shuriken and i have one in my personal vehicle as well.

I'm pissed at XS power because:

1. First of all they sent me a returned charger that was broken and also missing the power cord to plug it into the wall

2. I had to pay to ship that broken charger back to them and it took extra time so I was without a battery charger for a while

3. My expensive charger broke for no reason this last month after it had sat on my shelf for a while. Plugged it in to use it and it didn't work.

4. They said they don't repair the type of charger I have

5. They wouldn't replace it under warranty because I already got a new charger WHEN THEY SENT ME A BROKEN ONE //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

6. They only offered me $50 off on a new one, when they get the back in stock....

7. I opened up the charger, and replaced the blown capacitor this weekend. Should work now, but was told it was "unrepairable"

I won't use "car audio" batteries again. They're overpriced. Rebadged AGM's are fine

Car audio batteries are mostly over price... I run Juicebox because they are priced very well and local to me. G3100 Juicebox black cherrys for $180 each when I bought a few of them... Can't beat it for the price... Other great batts are energizer agm and Duracell agm

My battery tender agm 2amp float charger that cost $15 isn't looking to bad right now lol works great and no issues
