Sold any suggestions?

type r's can handle more than 500rms

If you wired the subs parallel you would get a .5 ohm impedance

(1/(1/2+1/2+1/2+1/2))=1/2

that amp is only 2ohm stable bridged, so you could not do the above

If you wire in series it would give you a 8 ohm impedance which would require a much bigger amp

If you haven't bought these yet and want 2 subs, I would suggest going with a 4 ohm DVC sub

like the alpine swr 1224d (Same sub, different impedance)

then you could wire that to a 1 ohm impedance and will have a easier time finding amps that will be stable at that level

I would not use the amp you have mentioned

oh and this is in the wrong section (classifieds)

WRONG!! actually u can wire 2 dual 2ohm subs and get 2ohms

Ok. Both subs together will be 4ohms put together. 2ohms a sub. I want to get a wire configuratinh can get each sub down to 1ohm a sub. So 2ohms a pair. I haunt decided what amp to get. So could I maybe get some advice on what amp I should get and how I should wire it. Sand I don't have slot of money. And I really want type r..........help

all u got to do is hooked up the 1 positive and one negative from different vc's

then the other positive and negative run to the amp

that would make your sub 4 ohms

then do it with the other sub and then tie both subs together and u have 2 ohms

when u tie them together they drop in half not double
