1 ohm at 1100wtts , and still will have 4 other channels left

Amplifier Class Channels 1-4: A/B, Channel 5: D

Number of Channels 5

RMS Power (4 ohms) 75 watts x 4 chan. + 300 watts x 1 chan.

RMS Power (2 ohms) 115 watts x 4 chan. + 600 watts x 1 chan.

RMS Power (1 ohm) 1100 watts x 1 channel for the 5th channel

You planning on upgrading your alt? That's a lot of power with the belle, PC, and 5 monitors. Voltage ripples could be damaging to sensitive electronic equipment like a PC and LCDs.

And do you still have your stock battery? You need to replace that with the biggest dry cell AGM (Kinetik, Powermaster, Optima, etc) you can fit and plan on placing a bigger one in your trunk.

Def a good idea.. .i heard tht you can just pay like 40 bucks and get your reg alt rewound.. but, i'm trying to stay stock at the moment, and just add batterys in the back.. what do u think?

What's your stock alt amperage? Going all dry cell AGM and maybe 2 large bats in the trunk would do you without getting the alt. But keep in mind one large good quality battery will be about $300. That's the majority of a HO alt, which would do a better job. You plan on running your system alot with the car off? Watching a movie or playing some Xbox 360 on those screens?

Well $300 isn't an issue for an extra battery.. I think I'll go that route.. HO alt.. how long does it take to get one shipped to my door.. and how much? My stock amp.. i need to find out the amps.. and running system with car off would be nice.. Please continue with this advice.. it is much needed and appreciated

If you plan on running your system for long periods (45+ minutes) with the car off then I would say spend your money on 3-4 batteries total instead of an alternator (and you'll want to isolate the 2-3 batteries in your trunk from your front bat so you can always start your car). With that many bats you may find you need an HO alt anyway just to charge them, but you won't know until they're installed. You'll want to look at batteries the size of Kinetik HC2400 or Powermaster D3100. 2 of them in the trunk should be enough to watch at least 2 movies (providing all screens aren't on) or be able to bump your music for at least an hour with the car off and still have a good voltage.

HO alts usually take 1-2 weeks from purchase to get one. Ohio Generator, Excessive Amperage, Iraggi and Meangreen are a few companies to contact.

If i were to run my system with the car off, it would only be for about 30 min or so.. and I'd prob start it up in that period for a lil bit . . So would One large battery work? How do i isolate this from my front battery?

$150 each or $150 total? That needs to be each. Or you'd be better off buying 1 set at $150 than 3 crappy sets that total $150.
