Any suggestions on a powerful 15" subwoofer!?

Im trying to decide what kind of set up to get but i cant decide really. Im looking at Rockford Fosgate T1, Soundstream T5, JL Audio 13w7, and my personal preference is Memphis. Im looking to get a reliable set up knowing i wont have problems/fixes all the time yet i still want all the available power. im just looking for some outside information! i have no idea what to do! thanks!

I wont go with the Rockford T1, I used to have one, sold it and got Skar VVX 15, much louder and bass goes deeper, I have 2 running off Brutus 1700w @1 ohm

i wanted to have 1200-1500 rms AT LEAST. Cost is a small factor because I was needing to get a headunit as well i didnt really look to go over $1500 for everything but i know that is unlikely for everything im wanting. Power is a issue but i also want very good clearity as well.

I i pretty much have it down to the JL Audio 13 and the Memphis 15. The only reason I cant exclude the Soundstream is my friend has had the T5 for 5 years almost and is very clear and hits as well plys the most important thing is the PRICE! I still personally like the Memphis but i know the JL Audio 13 hits just as hard and is clear as can be! Im a little puzzeled haha

Just read around here some and you will find many more subs much better then those. The W7 is a good sub that can dig deep but not get very loud doing it unless you give them a oversized box, then the power handling is reduced, their sound quality is personal taste. If you are looking at an old orange basket mojo go for it not the new stuff. Soundstream is not what it use to be.

point is just spend sometime looking thru threads and see what others are using. You will be very amazed by what you can get in that power range and not cost over $400

Both of the subs Boomsday offered should be louder than those mentioned and sound just as good; except for maybe the W7. They have a bit of a unique sound, but should be quite a bit louder than the W7.

Try out the Skar audio ZVX-15 1500rms 3" coil... I put 2.5k rms to it daily in a 4 cube box and **** pounds like crazy..

meh, JL & memphis are gonna cost you due to the name brand. there are plenty of other subs that will out bang what you mentioned for a better price.. sundown, dc audio... list goes on.

I recommend a DC XL. My attitude SLAMS on my SK-1500.1 which is probably being clipped in the process.
