Looks pretty solid to me, I like how it turns sideways and have big buttons.

I'm always worried about breaking the retracing mechanism though, they're so fragile...

Yea, I always hated flip-out units cuz they're so flimzy... but having one this retardedly big in a retardedly small car (Metro) might be fun
