I did all if not most of my skating in NYC NY at a place once known as the Roxy....

It was fun,25 years ago but now Im old............so pissoff

I also skateboarded ALOT,I sold most of my old skates for ungoldly amounts of money about 2 years ago,most of the collection was Kryptonics Brand circa 1979-1983...

My town used to have a skating rink and I had all my birthday parties there when I was younger. It ended up going out of business a few years back though. I always thought it was fun to go skating.

we allways have b-day parties. makes for a enteresting day sometimes. allthough the best ones are the soritey (sp?) parties we get all the time thanks to being so close to IU.

Theres four of them here, I work one and my buddies work two of the other ones. My old shop put on a few car shows at one of the rinks it was pretty badass we actually had a sound comp as well but it wasnt registered and it was on a AC mic. If your ever in the area again hit me up for sure.

I haven't roller skated in years and years. Blades are much easier for me. Used to use em to skate around the city (Boston) for years while in college. Soo great just blasting down the sidewalks or right in the streets sometimes. Not as bad as the guys on bicycles but uncrowded one way streets and the streets around fenway and such. Brick sidewalks are a pita on roller blades though lol. Got me a pair of Mission skates, can fly with them on some nice smooth asphalt. The one time I had them at a local roller rink they gripped amazingly and was tons of fun.

Soooo. I saw a guy who skated to class this morning. Except the wheels came off to make 'normal' shoes. The guy also had a mullet that he had kept tied back with a hair band. Real cool guy I'm sure.

Where was he? Freshman?

Wow I feel like im at the skatepark again back in 3rd grade. Thats like judging between people who have SPL and SQ setups, they both have there own style but some people are to ignorant to understand simple things like that.

roller blades count?? The rink here is straight out of the 70's! I havent had a pair of quads on it prolly 20 years LOL.. Blades on the other hand... weekly at least.. Gotta play hockey when the ice isnt frozen too! I can roller blade better than I can walk hehe
