Any reviews on these amps?

all i no is that ill be running 2 jlw3v1 dual 2. My cousin is giving me them as long as i get an amp. He was a little eary on the 13.8 volts on the cadence. but i am also planning to get a good amp right now for when i decide to go extreme with subs and get some that perform like dds

What's there to be leary about? The 13.8 volts just means that those specs are accurate at that voltage. It's better than most brands that give you over rated specs even at 14 volts. This is closer to what the average audiophile will probably be running.

Between the 2 I would prefer the Cadence. But I have no experience with either. Like misfit said the cadence has a lot more power. But there are a lot of other amps out there with a little research.

Aren't the W3v2's rated for 500 watts? I really can't remember. If so, with a pair of 2 ohm dvc's, you'll need 1,000 watts @ 2 ohms. Neither the Cadence, the Orion or the Audioque I mentioned will do that.

You could always bridge a 4 channel. The MB Quart DSC4125 will do 500 x2 @ 4 ohms, and so will the Crescendo 1000CF. If you want a monoblock, Alpine and Kicker (among others) do rated @ 2 ohms. The JL slash series is also an option...
