Any Repo Men here???

I used to work for ultimate repo in mn for a lil bit helpin out when they got busy. I never actually repod but I drove my buddy who did the risky stuff because he had a conceal and carry, and deliver cars to auctions. I made 100 bucks a night which was never more than 5hrs, most of which was just driving. we repoed this soccer moms mini van once and it was full of groceries, kinda felt bad about that. we watched her house till she pulled in her driveway to manually open her garage door and my buddy jumped in as she got out and we took off. my boss had a F150 with a stealth tow set up. if someone had purposely disabled a car so nobody can start it we would back up to with it with a normal looking ext. bed pickup with a topper but when you let down the tailgate there was a hydraulic lift that extended from the bed and lifted the front wheels off the ground and bye bye.

In Florida, you're not allowed to carry the weapon on the debtor's property (yes, even if you have a CWP). You must optain a class G license, which can only be had after having a Private Investigator's license, you are then allowed to carry your concealed weapon in the debtor's property.

I'm not sure of the laws in Minnesota, but just figured I'd let you know.

Not thatd itd ever happen, because I personally never get into debt and refuse myself to get there. But if I woke up at night/in the morning and saw someone in my car... I'd likely start bump-firing a 40 round magazine at their vehicle/person thinking someone was jacking my car. And we dont even have castle laws. Repo men can easily be mistaken for thieves or other ne'erdowells

So you guys might wanna be super careful... especially in the south.

Its just how I was raised. Protect your home/land/shit, with firearms.

My uncle has been doing it for 20 years, and I'm interested in it, I know of all the dangers from the stories I've heard and I went with him on one last night. He had to get a 2007 BMW M6 convertible. The guy had it about 700 feet behind his house in the woods next to a old shack covered in a black sheet. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
Luckily he didn't come out, I'm just wondering if anyone else here is interested in this profession and if any of you do it or have any stories to tell.
How did u guys find the car when it was 700ft from his house?a GPS or lojack? Also yea i would like to have that job,but dont want to get hurt also if someone ever try to repo my shit and i saw the dude in my site i would take off in his truck or just slash the towtruck tires/so the guy repo my car has no where to go

Its not like someone comes and gets your car out of the blue.. You have been notified several times of delinquent payments, so you have to know its coming.. Unless you are a total moron.. I used to work with a repo man (his night job) When he repo'ed bikes we got to have lots of fun on them before they got turned in!!

Meh, dunno the slightest thing about debt. But for instance, my brother(who I live with) could be missing payments on his truck like crazy and not tell me, I wake up to someone who I think is breaking into his truck.....?

yah never know man. Repo men should be careful out there is all I'm saying.

No not gangster, but when you live in a world where you can have the most famous assault rifle in the world with a drum magazine for less than some subwoofers.....

too bad high capacity magazines require a separate permit?
What type of permit? In Florida, i recently learned from reading about a miami arrest about a jackass threatening to assassinate Obama, that we can completely legally buy armor piercing bullets.. Assault rifles down here don't require a special permit, just if you get into fully automatic class 3 weapons and everything.

I've seen where guys let their bish's handle the funds:greedy:...and blow the money given to them for bills on drugs and gambling , shopping and such:verymad:...and hide the mail while their man is working thinking the bills are all paid up and everything is fine...next thing they know the repo man//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif is picking up their shit......//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

You're absolutely wrong.

Depending on the origins of the AK-47, provided it has a certain amount of US made parts, and the date of manufacture.... It is completely legal to own high capacity magazines. Not only that, but the bayonet and pistol grip is also legal on some models.

The only thing that is illegal is fully automatic, which isnt even illegal if you manage to get a class three license and ffl license.

But that doesnt matter anyway, because theres a very easy method to shoot any semi-automatic rifle fully automatic where all you need is a belt loop.

So I can effectively load up a 90 round drum and unload the whole thing in one long burst. Pretty obscene loophole in the law.... HUH?
