from what i have been told they are a sister company of jl audio but i can't find any info about them there is a kid in a local fourm selling one it's 500rms 2ohm stable for like 80 bucks

Squeak is right. Actually their CEO or President, I can never remember which, was a higher up brass type for RoFo for a number of years untill he got fed up with the company's direction. So, he started his own company and JL really loved their product and leadership so they bought their rights. Now they are basically JL's entry level line-up.

I can vouch for their amps, very solid from what I've experienced. Plus they have been redesigned for 06, although they don't show it on their website.

very solid amps. yes i have used them, and been through the inards. and 80 bucks for that amp is a steal.
