just wondering if any one else was using Ma Audio subs i like the 12inch hard kore subs i have, just wanted to know if any one else was using the hard kores too. ive been pretty happy with mine sound good even with a small kenwood excelon 1000 watt amp. i blew up my 4400 rms Ma Audio amp prolly cuz i dropped the voltage below 10 volts too many times, lesson learned get the bigger alternator to push 180 amps asap! im waiting for my new amp its warrantied for 2 years no worries.

yes I'm doing very well with them... I have a hk602sx per sub.. my voltage goes down to 10 a lot, but no amp probs....

Anything that I've heard with MA audio sounded great, and I've heard alot of installs with them. The most noteworthy one would have to be my boy Cory's suburban, 2 ma1800xl 18" with 2 Lunar 2200s running each. The subs are rated at 800 rms, and he's pushing 1600 to them! They take the power like champs, and it sounds simply breathtaking. Without a doubt the best setup i've ever heard.

hell yeah! good to hear that other people are using Ma Audio! people thought i was nuts when i posted the specs of my hard kore 12inch subs and the 4400 rms Ma Audio amp i had,.........had........ ill be getting a new one its under warranty sp np wprries. like the other guy said their very very power thirsty, so if your running Ma Audio amps i strongly reccomend up grading your alt asap to avoid the problem i had. im sure the dropping below 10 volts is what fried my 4400 amp, talk about power handling too, the subs i had are ratted at 3000 max and i had 2200 rms at .5 ohm mono pushing them! never heard them bottom out either.

I'm pretty sure most people like ma audio dude, save a few people on this forum. Around here they're pretty much the most popular brand sold, right up there with kicker and jl.

maybe they are now... but they definitely weren't a year or two ago....

pretty much everywhere I went, I was the first person runnin their stuff (at that time I had four of the first model XE 12"s and a SY5011dx comp amp running at .5 ohm)

I couldn't post too much in any forums, got no respect w/ the equipment I had, I'd post up my #'s they'd just say I lied or something (couldn't believe 147 w/ 4 12"s, I'm past that w/ 2!)

Heck, I just now got a dealer relatively close to me, I used to have to drive at least a few hrs. or order..... Pretty much before the hk4000d and the hard kore subs, ma was not mainstream....

3600 watts rms ? powering which subs ? i have the 12inch hard kore subs and im running 2200 rms thinking of running another 4400 rms amp one to each sub and keeping the gain down the 12inch hard kores have 3000 max in the specs but i know they'll take way way more than that i mean come on 70mm x max peak to peak thats simply nuts! going to redo my system any way and possibly thinking of adding at least another amp maybe 2 more hard kore subs too so id have 4 12's and 2 4400 rms amps i like that amp because its got more power than the 4000 but its just more thirsty.

4 hard kore 12's and 2 4400 rms amps tha'd be frickin nuts! id be legal as long as its below the window line and im sure i could get them all in with the correct cubic feet for the box when i take the back seat out of my 1995 pontiac grand prix gtp.

basically double what i have now, prolly need more batteries another 5 farad cap and 2 alternators but thats running into alot of money. still the thought is crazy. i know i got the funds to do it cuz i get every thing at dealer cost now from the shop i deal with and beings im in the national guard i got all kinds of money comming.

Yeah i have the x2 hard kores... they say 70mm p-p in specs but I dunno about that.... then again its only 35mm one way... yeah I guess I see it movin about that much?

Hey I Have Two MA Audio Hard Kore 12"s I lve them..im running 3000 Watts too each one and hittin around 147-148s. Only Bad thing Is that its in a coffin of a box 6Ft Cubic...HUGE
