hey did you ever get your cube moded if you did ide like to know how to do it . that orange light is kinda gay .and i know gc is old but its durable as hell . i put mine in my car for my son to play on trips and i still find myself playing it every one in awhile

i custom modify 360's with adding additional cooling fans with a fan speed controller to regulate the noise output. i have redone the Ring Of Light from green to blue, very nice IMO. um i just ordered 1/8" smoked clear plexi so i will be modding another 360 with a window just like that red one that was posted. will be changing the ring of light to white, and smoking/tining the ring of light. adding a few led's into the mother board and such. will be nice after it's done in black. i might do it in flat black.

ebay man. that's where i get all of mine. you just gotta find one that has a seal that is not broken. getting one with a broken seal will most likely be a chopshopped 360 of broken parts off multiple 360's.. and finding rrod 360's with seals intact can get pricey just for that reason of them being untainted.

They make bits to remove the screws on the bottom of the cube. Like 5 shipped off ebay or console modding sites with stores/classifieds.

Four screws off the bottom, then the entire top comes off. unscrew the circuit board with the controller ports from the front fascia piece. Remove solder, place new LED in.

I forget the kind of LED you need, but there are a lot of sites that could let you know. I made mine blue.

As for the cube being durable, My disc drive died for no reason. It wasn't the laser, the board, or the drive itself. Would spin up, then just say no disc. Doesn't matter too much with the Wii, just a PITA.

yea i know thats y i havent got one yet i dont wanna drop that kinda money on one specially since **** near none of them come with cables and shit and i can get a new one for 150

do you want just the system or everthing like cords and HD? its the system that did not come with HD but i bought one for it.
