JL=Unoriginal posers.

I spend my time beating JL, not working so I can try to buy it. It's like buying a Corvette, 50% car and 50% namesake that's on the pricetag. Sure, it's good... But what does that say about the owner? Nothing. I have good equipment. Thats it.

If you are sexually attacted to the black/white design scheme of the cones, RE is a much better choice, IMO.

I think it was more something to do with the owners of the equipment than the stuff itself. Some of the engineering behind their stuff is incredible. The W7/W6v2 hidden mounting ring is teh God!

Around here, almost every Honda Civic owner drools over JL like it was the only thing that ever existed. Some automotive based television shows tout JL as "the one and only."

As a budding artist, it is my duty to protest ostentatiously, so...

JL has THE BIGGEST r/d department in ALL of car audio...the time and money it takes to come up with a break-thru product is not cheap...and its gotta come form some where...

just because idiots give them a bad name, doesnt mean you should come on here with this "really big fvck jl" bs, because chances are if the person is on here they want to learn or honestly want to know others educated opinion...not hear your deliquent crap...

Its not that i have to have it. But i have had it, my first setup was 2-12"w3v2's, and then i sold those to a friend and purchased my 12W6v2. I like the quality of the products. And i already have one so i was wanting to buy another to match.

It's mostly opinon on the whole price vs. performance. one sub and amp from jl can run more than some very nice systems with 2-4 subs and 1-2 amps

JL kicks ***. good guys is another chain that carries JL. I do have to admit however, if i didnt work for a JL authorized dealer and didnt get everything at cost, i wouldnt be as loyal to them. But i do. By opinions are as follows. if you want a sub that will beat all of your friends in loudness and shaking peoples' homes, dont get JL. something else can do that at have the price. but if you want superior sound quality and reliability, definitely go with JL.

W6v2 in a sealed enclosure = heaven to my ears.

the guy wanted to know where he could find the cheapest prices on jl audio subs and all these posts and has anyone named even one place--lol. dude ebay is probably the cheapest your gonna find because definately any legit dealer you find is gonna charge some big pesos for them. i got two jl audio 12w6v2 for $265.00 each brand new off some shop on ebay after my original jls got jacked. i went to good guys last week and saw them there and im not positive but it was like 500 or 600 each or some chit so thats your choices. either egay and risk no warranty from anyone --just you in the garage by yourself tryin to fix that cone that tore off for no **** reason---or a legit dealer and you might pay off the subs by the time your kids turns 17. if you gonna go legit yeah you could probably find alot of other subs where you will be happy with them and still be able to buy some gas for the car with the money youll save. personally i tried alot of subs--soundstream --memphis--alpine --idmax---eclipse---planet audio--boston---kicker--mtx in my lifetime and for me i really do like these jl audio 12w6v2. i mean i have two they dont need a lot of power and if i want them to they ****in pound--and importantly pound clean. so if you do get some jl audios for cheaper youll love them no doubt. at regular price even as much as i love them--i would probably passs. good luck. hey you could just wait till good guys is ready to close and hide out till they close and just gank the whole **** jl audio line ---problem solved. and they say im not good with the youth. big brother of year no doubt.

Any suggestions on how to do that? Cuz theres two places that i know of that carry it around here...Tweeter and Freeman's...and neither one of them is interested unless you have money flowing fom your ears

loudcrownvic kinda took it to another level, and also showed that he doesent exactly know what he is talking about... but it is my PERSONAL oppinion that JL is overpriced and not worth it... take a look around, you will find products on an exual playing field, for much lower prices. note i didnt say better, because once you get up to the level of some of these super subs it comes down entirely to oppinion and application...

but do some looking around, and youll find that you will be able to get W7 performance for around W3 price... possibly less.
