Any ITT Tech students?

past student here, also part of the alumni. I attened the campus in San Antonio. Great cirriculum, graduated with a 3.8 and highest honors and they will even help to find you employment once finished, although I found employment myself. They even still call me to ask how i'm doing and if i'm still lookin for a job:) . I was enrolled in the ITCNST program (Network systems). I chose this particular school because it is a trade school, and that is what I learned the trade, nothing more nothing less. All in all great school, and highly respected. Good luck in your schooling, and let me know if you have any further questions.

BTW: What program are you going to be enrolling in?

can you please tell me what all ITT tech has to offer as far as what kind of trades you can learn there. i'm still looking for options for when i graduate high school.

I was going to attend there......Then talked to a couple people who had. It was VERY expensive, and if you decided to transfer to a regular college, most of your credits wouldnt transfer.

Also, make sure you take a program that is in demand. They had pictures of their graduates up, with what they do now, and most of them were "associates" at Radio Shack and Best Buy.

wow. i just browsed threw the itt site and i must say that it is very much what i was looking for. i took an ACT practice test to see what field i would do best in and it was working with data for me. now i can see what options are in that field and what my choices are. thanks guys!

Xpensive indeed, my cirriculum I was enrolled in cost me around $30,000-$35,000 when all said and done. But, that does include all your books n stuff.

yea it is kinda pricey, but oh well. Im gonna be in the CEET program (Computer and Electronics Engineering Technology).

I have a question. How hard is the curriculum (sp) and how heavy is the homework load?

My friend is going there for GPraphic designs. They told me they haven't learned anything and even if they did by the time they graduated the entire area of employment is going to need Maya trained students, which ITT tech does not offer them.

If you are really looking into a technical field where you wish to make solid money ITT isn't going to be the way to go. I'm not saying people out of there don't, but nowadays you really need a bachelors for a lot of companies to hire you and having it would most likely pay off very fast. If you go to a community college for a few grand a year for the first two years of shcool then transfer to a state college total cost would most likely be under 40-45k.

Nosa is right in a sense, it's not a must but is nice. In my particular field they'll take experience over a bachelors anyday. This is also assuming you stay up to date with some of the latest certs. I didn't have much experience under my belt going into the workforce, except for a few certs and 1 or 2 years of interning. I got good contacts though that helped me get my foot in the door, the rest is history.
