Sold any interest in a brahma mk1?

12" brahma mk1, has a broken tinsel lead i haven't got to solder yet, should be able to get to it this friday. very easy fix. just got it off the forum. all the coils read fine and the suspension isn't locked up. some sctratches on the magnet but overall fairly decent condition. looking to get $200+ shipping

very good sq, but probably classified as sql. one of the "supersubs" from 2-3 years ago. basiaclly same thing as the re xxx ( 05 an earlier version) same motor. it'll handle close to 2000 watts daily, will work fine with 800-1000. this link has full ts parameters. http://www.adireaudio.com/Files/OldAdireDrivers.pdf

Brahma Extreme and XXX shared the same motor IIRC.

However, this Brahma and the XXX that was out at the time (forgot what gen. that was) are very similar in performance.

from what i read they both use the same xbl^2 technology, anyways the point is the orevious xxx and brahma are very similar. some tend to say the xxx is slightly louder while the brahma performs better in samller enclosures

Yessir, XBL^2.

For the price, I doubt you'll find a better sub...

Yea they share the tech, as do alot of subs like the Ascendant Audio Atlas and RE 6.5 mid.

Now the obvious differences are the flat back plate and 3 slugs, the xxx has a beveled back plate and 2 slugs, and a much taller top plate.

I think the 1st gen XXX might be similar to this motor but it still has 2 slugs I believe.
