any info on fosgate series 1 18" sub?

I don't have the T/S parameters on the Series 1 Fosgates so I cannot help you there but I can tell you they are more than a 'few' years old.

A buddy of mine named Randall used to compete with an '86 VW Fox 2-door that had a wall with four Series 1 15" subs back in the day. That was in '92. I don't remember exactly what year the Series 1 drivers were released but it was at least 14 years ago since Randall was using them in '92...

well i only have one and as for more info off the sub the sticker on the magnet is haft there and sratched up so bad i cant read anything . as for a pic i have to go by a web cam today for my son so i will take pics later today and as for selling it i dont think i will. i will prob build a box for it as soon as i get some info and T/S for it... the only thing that i can find is off the fosgate web site but it does not list the 18" so i looked at the 15" and it say 150rms and 300 peak well i am gonna use a JBL 300.1 on it anyways...wow so maybe 14 years old wow...

I don't know the T/S parameters, but I had one sealed and it seemed to like it fine.IIRC the box was about 3cf.

Not much help but it's all I got //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

well the only other thing that i can find on the sub is the serial number which is.

B2QB03A000714

And the it is a SVC and it is 3.1 ohms on my DMM.

does any one have any idea on how many CUFT i should make the box.

i know that i am gonna slot port the box and i dont even know where to tune it too.. i have never held a 18" sub let alone have to build a box for one

please let me know what you all think for how many CUFT and the tuning

i am a spl guy and hiphop..

i have no limits on how much space i take up in the car but i dont want to wall the car.

Gosh I remember having 2 series 1 12's back in the early 90's and they sounded great off a punch 45 (22.5 w x 2)

I beat them and beat them and they took it all.

sorry not much more help but I believe you have a genuine antique on your hands.
