I was just wondering like how high can the sub handle frequency wise. I have it in the jl prefab sealed box and well I feel like if the crossover filter is set at like 80 hz up its has trouble keeping up and kinda sounds like partial ***. I have it set at 63hz on the deck with a 12/octave slope and its pretty good but **** I wish the thing could handle higher than that. my previous kappa 12.1 was set to like 125hz and kept up with every beat. Are my ears just weird or is the thing made for a very low range of frequencies.

I usually cross my subs over around 80hz with a 24db slope but that depends on you set up and many other factors. 63hz with a 12db slope is fine and you should just go with what your ears tell you and I do know that the W7 is not the best on the higher bass freq like an IDmax would be.
