off topic but speaking of crickets, as a prank i went to petco and bought like 50 crickets and released them in my cousins bedroom when he was at work, needless to say he didnt get to sleep that night, he was up all night trying to find the noisy bastards lol

The cage in the picture is the cage I bought with it. I am thinking of building a 6 or 7 foot tall cage, and was just curious how other people design theirs interior wise, (platforms, levels, doors, lighting arrangment, etc.)

But I found a nice site about it, so once I start building I guess I'll start a thread and keep a log about it.

I used to have an iguana..it was about 3 1/2 ft long... mean little fuker.... that ***** ate the biggest crickets Ive ever seen...and then when I was letting him run around in the backyard on his leash(yeah,he was that big) he bit through the rope and escaped...

It was a a 4ftx2x2 plastic cage

Iguanas have the potential to get huge...a buddy of mine had one that was around 5' long to the tip of the tail. He'd handle it with falconer's gloves.

In lumber, by the fencing materials...if not, you could always set a rip fence and cut off the extra inch.

Exactly...which is why it bothers me when you see these people that keep lizards in a 20 gallon fish tank, as if that's going to be enough.

I used to have a few different reptiles,and yes those monitors are mean sum bi*ches,hissing and all that.It got to the size where i had to feed it full grown rats and i tell you man,watching that thing got pretty disturbing,so i got rid of it,but i used to have sorts of sh*t like that,a couple breeds of tarantuals,scorpions,all sorts of lizards and snakes and few different salt/fresh tanks aswell,but i lost em all when my place caught a blaze bout 2 years back.

btw,nice lookin lizard ya got,just try to handle him as much as possible.also when hes/she gets bigger watch for that tail hahahaha
