C0CK,its whats for dinner
Well I have been searching for a new pet for a while, since cats **** ***, so I decided to get an Iguana, after seeing my friend's.

I was just wondering about an ideal cage, I plan on building one for myself. Does anyone have pics of their cages, if anyone happens to own one? Or even any other large reptile, Chameleon, Bearded Dragon, etc.

dude the swap meet here owns these sick *** iguana like animals. They are called Savannah Monitors. The special thing about these animals that they can grow up to 4 feet long. But not only that, but this animal is very aggressive. If you train them right, you can create them to be friendly. They say you have to feed em mice.

lol i say you get one of these, feed it, train it, and then let your monitor attack your friends iguana. haha LOL jp.

FUk Iguanas!

My dad had one in a custom built cage made of plexi glass 5x5 feet in our gameroom when we were kids..

You have to keep the cage warm, which keeps the room warm, and those bishes smell!!!

Plus they dont do shit!!!

Invest in a saltwater tank.. Nothing like a beautiful reef or aggressive fish tank to add some style to your place..

I had 2 chameleons, they are cool but hard to take care of, unless you absolutely love them, But if you get chameleons they arent supposed to be in a glass aquarium cause when they shit all the gases or something cant escape through the glass and they can get sick or die. its supposed to be a big cage with rope netting or something similar, and they need running water all the time, pain in the ***, get a fish

Iguanas are known to get around 6 feet...

But any help would be appreciated guys.

As to the smell, I am keeping it on the patio. And I plan on using 1/4" x 1/4" chicken wire around the whole cage.

They are INSANELEY hard to maintain and can run you about $2k per anna when you factor in the cost of UV lighting, lime drip, RO Unit, Filters, Tank heater, electricity, etc...

And while they are one of the mos beautiful live pets you can have, they have thier costs!!!

they are still small here... these look nice though.. bearded dragons are ugly.

im telling you man...
i highly recommend the savannah monitor. its gonna be a great experience
they eat meat. they also look boring lol if you want a cool lizard from the monitor family get a nile monitor or a tegu. 3 other types for coolness factors are male basiliks (they can run on water and have back "sails" that look like real dragons (they run away from you though lol) bearded dragons are people curious as well as water dragons

off topic but speaking of crickets, as a prank i went to petco and bought like 50 crickets and released them in my cousins bedroom when he was at work, needless to say he didnt get to sleep that night, he was up all night trying to find the noisy bastards lol
