Took some pics of my gear...figured I'd share

Louisville TPS Xhale pads 34in. These are the same pads Hasek used to wear a few years back. Ran me $1100 when I got em.

Also, Louisville TPS 'Cujo' catch/blocker. Same design Curtis Joseph used to use...IIRC these were a little over $600 for the pair.

And my helmet- custom painted Simmons mask. Ran me around $400.

After playing hockey for some time, I think being a goalie gives the most adrenaline rush...

assuming the other team is keeping the pressure on you, otherwise you'll be standing there scratching your *** allday lol

I'd rather be a goalie than a C. CuJo for life man!!! I did like Hasek in his day and I used to have a poster of Mike Richter on my wall. Goalies FTW.

Yah. Gonna have to get some new wheels though, from what I've heard...the wheels that come on them are horrible.

Nice to see a Brodeur poster in the background there. I think he's the ONLY hockey player that I ever heard of.... LOL, I am so far out of hockey hahaha. I've never been a fan.

Nice stuff man...what are you playing in with that though? Just like men's league? I think all my old highschool gear is still in my bag somewhere at my Mom's house. I'm still using my same skates from when I was 17...Bauer 2000's baby! They were the top of the line back then.....I remember that's all my parents could afford to buy me for Christmas one year - new skates, that's it.

Hockey is definately an expensive sport to play, especially for goalies!!! Holy christ is the gear expensive these days. My buddy coaches Bantams and all the kids on the team have to have the new composite, one piece sticks now that Easton and others are making that cost like $150!!! I was like ****.....I never paid over like $25 for a good ole Christian or Sherwood back in the day!!
