Any harm?

Ok, so in my 1990 Corsica Hatchback I've got 2 10" subs wired at 2 ohms to an Audiobahn A8000T amp, which is 800x1 RMS @ 2ohms. I don't have it up all the way on the CD Player level adjustment for subs, don't have the level up on the amp (I did my best to set the levels right so its about 1/3 of the way up on the gain), and volume on my cd player is a max of 22 out of a possible 34.

My lights are completely fine if I'm driving, however if I'm just sitting in the driveway with the amp turned on and music bumpin, the interior lights dim very slightly. Headlights aren't dimming. I've done no wire/alt upgrades, however I believe my battery is about 800CC (not sure if thats stock or not). Alternator is 100amps. My amp fuses are 30 (there are 2 of them though).

Anyway, the question is am I going to harm anything eventually? My Corsica eats alts for breakfast, I think I've been thru 2 or 3 the past few years WITHOUT having a system in it, and replaced the battery too.

So should I be ok in the long wrong, and would a big 3 do me good?

the big three never ever hurts.

it might help your gas mileage too thats what some people say.

i know my car feels a bit more responsive after i did the big three/grounding kit

nothing crazy though... definately worth 20 minutes of time and 20 feet of 0 gauge though.

10' would be more than sufficient.

i did the big three and grounded my engine in a bunch of places.. along with some other stuff.

No, you wont really hurt anything, the electrical system is working how it is supposed to. Although you may want to consult a mechanic as to why you keep destroying alternators.
