My dad and lil bro caught ~18 bass last weekend at our hunting camp in a branch of the red river I believe all on little beetle spins. Hopefully I can find them also as I'll be about 2-3 hour south of them.

Never been a big land fisher. I know you can get good bites but i just like it when you can go out and hit places you cant off land.

I'm not too big on land fishing either. I claim my dad and brother got lucky. Lol I'm like you, I rather be able to go find the fish

Haven't been this year yet.....but my crappie spot is about to get opened up for the season. i guess i need to get my 17ft Bass Tracker warmed up and ready to go....

We use a Lowrance HDS 10 and Structure scan when on the lake.

i fish for bass down here in kentucky on grubb, i used it for carp fishing, but the grub's really does the trick for me.

I trout fish in the cold,and catfish in the summer. Ive hauled in 50's and 60's this past year. Had alotta fun.

i cant wait to get back on the water this year and catch some walleye! dont go ice fishing. what you guys use for bait for cat fish, i usually go cat fishing once or twice a year biggest i caught was 40 pounds but pull up 35 lbers all day tho. i dont use any fish finders or nothing but a guy i go with has all the goodies, gps that controlls the trolling motor and hes got a sweet 30000 dollar fishing boat it is sweet to go fishing in.

Catch you some Large suckers,or some hand size bream. Slice the suckers in 2" chunks,fish the bream whole and live with some 6/0 or 8/0 circle hooks hooked behind the top fins with about 2 ounces of weight.
