any experience with knukonceptz KLM wire?

I've installed some in my brother's truck and it works fine so far... about 2 months under there no problem. He competes in nSPL no-wall 0-24 class. I've got about 140 more feet going in my Civic whenever it is ready (who knows).

cool, thanks. i guess thats what im getting. and if its not flexible, its not my problem since i'm having others install the amp for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

KLM isnt quite as flexible as Kolossus kable, I have both and have checked them side by side... but to be honest with you KLM is as flexible as you will EVER need

and im pretty sure Kolossus is 100% copper and KLM is 90% CCA (copper coated aluminum) and 10% copper, so perhaps kolossus will be a little bit better conductor and better under high current loads, but KLM will definitely get the job done, and for the price its awesome.

Only con I have noticed with the KLM wire is that it falls apart when you touch the actual strands. I have some Scosche 0/1 and it seems to be a bit more on the quality side than the KLM, but I paid almost $3 a foot vs. $1.75 a foot for the KLM. I have been running the KLM in my car for about two months, and I haven't had any problems yet.

KLM is ok, but I like welding wire better. Its more flexible than KLM by far. The outer cover is a thick pliable plastic rather than rubber-like.
are you serious? welding wire is better than KLM? i heard welding wire isn't flexible at all..

The downside to KLM wire is that it isn't as good of a conductor. Knukonceptz says themselves that its better suited for low current applications. IMO you're better off going with a quality 2ga wire.

look at the guys setup.... he is perfectly fine with the klm wire... dont trip just pick it up... and stay away from the welding wire... there is a reason welders change wire so often...

i have the KLM wire. Nice stuff. I mean, if your gonna be going gung ho with massive amps and bigass 18" subs, then obviously, budget wire isn't for you.

But it works fine for me. It's flexible and its good wire. Cheap too.
