any drawbacks on going bigger?

if i go bigger than the recommended airspace is there any drawbacks? not much bigger, thinking from .5 to .6ish. this is for sundown SD-210's

As long as u arent sending dbl rms to each sub u will be fine

If ur sending a sub alot of power amd u have higher airspace than reccomended u can lose woofer control ..chance of over excursion amd coil coming out of gap and what not

ok each sub is 500rms. i think i should have know that. when all is said and done i do plan on maxing out the 5th channel of my memphis belle 1300. the sub channel maxes at 1100x1@1ohm. judging by what you are saying. i should stick with the .5 recommended airspace. thanks
