Any bowlers in here? Time to get some new equiptment...

pearls usually go down lane further, then when it hits the dry it starts to break. But it all depends on how its drilled, usually pin down sees an earlier reaction as pin up sees a later reaction.
Wwhat sucks Is I might have to drop down to a 15 or 14 pound ball //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Or else work up my hand strength again.. Cuz 2 years ago Had a little accident on the job and ended up with a 16d nail 2 1/2" into my hand, and my hand/grip is weak.. I picked up my ball tonight and it hurt just gripping it .. Sucks bad man

i personally throw 14#, tried moving up to 15 but just couldn't regulate my speed enough, so back to 14, people say you get more carry with 15 but i get enough carry with what i throw.

Eh, alot of guys on tour are throwing 14 now. 5 years ago yes, heavier meant more carry. But bowling balls are made to be so aggressive now, that really doesnt apply anymore.

Heres a video review using both the C system 3.5 and evil siege.

ive put about 20 games on my 3.5 already and i gotta say its an aggressive ball but not like most aggressive pieces today. it has an interesting shape to it. instead of your typical skid/flip it has an arch but still continues through the deck. most arching balls tend to deflect alot, or roll out. this one doesnt.

yeah, Maxim 15lbs just your typical plastic ball. before that i had the storm basketball, till the span completely broke from the thumb to the fingers.

its really not about how strong you are really, mostly what kind of shape your tendons and joints are in your wrist and hand. im only 26, bowl on 3-4 leagues a week and even my wrist and hands begin to get a little sore from time to time. i wear one of ebonites wrist braces, keeps your tendons warm while bowling. cuts down on pain.

out of the few people around here who do throw brunswick i have never seen their reaction to be skid flippy, i think the way brunswick designs there balls they are more arching than anything.

in the vid it looked like the evil siege hooked more in the back, while the other was more of a smooth curve..

he was playing alittle deeper with the seige, but it also looked like the 3.5 went a bit further down lane before it started to catch the friction and hook
