Any audio engineers out there?

You have to do what ever you want to do.... It's your life... Don't let anyone else tell you what you should do with your life....

I feel the same way, but I'm not sure if like what I want now is just something I'm intrested in at the moment and that my intrest will pass. computers have kept my intrest for 10 years so im thinking that will most likely be the road i head down

Well maybe it was my college that was crappy, but EE is seriously a ultra crappy major... I hated it everyday I was in it. And, just about everyone I know at UC who is or was in it hates it too. They all think once I get out it will be totally awesome, but it's not. Jobs for EE's today are not secured, not like they would lead you to believe.

Over here if you go to UT, you are gauranteed a job in Engineering...

You are at UC too... But it does not mean that you will be at that job long. EE's are a dime a dozen any more and companies know that...

Motorola keeps EE's for about 5 years then throws them out and get's new ones.... Motorola sucks.... IMO...

yeah, if any of you go to motorola, tell them they need to gold plate their battery terminals with phones such as the e815, they get covered in dust and oxidize as well...haha off topic but i needed to get that out

My math skills aren't up to the level that I'd need to have to go EE here at VT...

Hopefully I can still get into something in a field that I'd enjoy, although I'm split between audio and RF...

i don't think they would **** that bad if verizon didn't use their software to cripple them so much

i had to hack my e815, i needed file transfer...bluetooth is the best

Ive been a unlicensed EE for like, years...lol ... The ultra cool jobs are usually contract based, and you really never have any permenant security.
