Any amp tat is similar to z2lv(output/quality wise) that is still in production?

I think the Z2LV is still in production but DD says no one in the states will fix it if it breaks. Kinda like the JBL GTI6000 amp.DB-R knows what i mean about working on these huge amps. Can get quite costly to fix them.

Z2LV is still in production but is special order. DD does not stock them.
Not true. DD is redesigning the amp and changing heat sinks, all though I do not know why. Not sure if that is supposed to be public information or not but the new ones should be available in the next few months.

Stetsom 14k2d 16500 wrms @ 1 ohm after rise @ 13.2 volts. costs 1408 + shipping 1 year warrenty, and fixed if need be by Db-r ,
Were comparing a 14k2d to a DD Z2lv? First off I assure you in a drop-in test the 14k2d will not do what the Z2lv can do, or at least not survive it. Not for a daily application. You literally need a massive battery bank for a 14k2d. Also for a street application you will never see anyone running one for obvious reasons. Nothing against the 14k2d its a great amp but for most applications the 7k2d is the way to go for a Stetsom amp.

Ok I didnt think they were changing the heat sink on the Z amplifiers( I know they changed the rest of the amps). Will it be the heat sink as the rest of the amps now??

honestly... and bumpin knows this....

i want this amp more than any other... its gonna be alot of work for any company that wants to try and out do what the lv2 does currently...

Cactus ELT? My buddy Stewie has two, id put one of those up agaisnt my Z2lv any day. Then again the price tag is about twice as much as well.

... and yes the z2lv is following the path of the other DD amps with the new heatsink, which personally I am not very fond of.

Sad if they are making a new heatsink that doesn't look as good as the old ones did AND still not getting away from the spring clips.... tisk, tisk.....

I will not work on a Z2, XXV-Sampson etc... sorry.

I really liked the DD Heatsinks the way they were.... if only they would use the same design heatsink, but make it where it uses screws and bars and no 90 degree mosfet mounting. Then it would be "fap fap" as some of you here say.....
