Any allergy sufferers here?

I've had lots of problems with sinus' over the last 2 years and my normal doctor has basically used me as a guinea pig for all types of anti-biotics. Well i finally had enough of her shit and decided to go see a specialist.

Well i thought i'd start off with an allergy doctor. So i went yesterday for the skin tests...77 tests in all. They basically take a sample of what they are testing, prick your skin with it and wait to see if you react. Well, i reacted to 21 of them before she even finished pricking me, and reacted to 45 different ones in all. They had to give me a Benedryl shot right away because i reacted so hard.

Anyways, now i'm on Allerx pills, Astelin spray and Rhinocort aqua spray. Plus i have to come in once a month for a regular shot...most likely for the rest of my life. I really don't care as long as i feel better.

i have allergies

my allergist basically asked me what i thought i was allergic to and they tested for that

now every 3 weeks i get injections of what im allergic to to build up immunities and i can allready feel it working. ive been going for probably 2.5-3 years and my girlfriends cats no longer bother me.

i take the newer beefy version of zyrtec (cuz zyrtec is now no longer RX)

and im on an off brand version of flonase nasal spray.

im sure im allergic to more than what im treated for, i actually wish they would test my for as much as they tested you just to get everything possible.

im treated for: cats, some dogs, grass when it gets really long, mold and mildew, dust mites, guinea pigs, and stupidity (suprisingly, thats not treatable YET)

i'm basically allergic to everything, grass, trees, dust ,pollen, cats -but not dogs, cigarette smoke. etc.

yeah, im not too bad with dogs and thats a good thing

i guess youre AS allergic to things you grew up with.

strangely enough NO...i just developed these about 2 summers ago and i'm 35

Had that test a few years ago thankfully not to much showed up but being allergic to benedryl is NOT fun

I did those allergy tests... pretty much allergic to everything they put on me. I did allergy shots for a couple years, and nothing. I've taken allegra, claritin, and rhinocort and they did nothing. So basically, I just have said fvck it, and now I just suffer from it.

that blows...i've been on the meds for 24 hours and i already am starting to feel better

i didnt think it was doin shit either untill i started dating a girl with 3 cats and noticed i could still breath

there is, however, a downside

the shots **** with youre immune system so every year, for the last 3 years, in the same week, i manage to wind up with a viral throat infection worse than mono or strep, that they can do nothing about

surely i do....but imagine getting the worse sinus infection you've ever had...living with it for 1.5 months, getting over it...then 1 week later it comes back. That has been my nightmare for the last 2 years

one time when i was in second grade, i had so much pressure behind my ears that i cried.

is it just me, or when you get pressure in your ears, do you get dizzy and disoriented?
