rofl you guys blow away and restore machines with "antivirus xp"? Rouge remover will get rid of most infections, then some simple manual cleanup. Takes less time than backing up/formatting and reinstalling.Seems like AVG is pretty vulnerable to many of the newer hoax malware infections going around (i.e. Antivirus XP 2009, MS Antivirus, etc.) ... Seeing tons of computers running Norton and AVG coming in with those infections and, given the degree of infection, we end up reformatting them most of the time. Avast! is not as popular, but given the problems AVG has been having lately, I'd be inclined to recommend it over AVG.
Of course, if you really want to be safe, you're better off shelling out the dough for something like Kaspersky or NOD32 ...
